How is this different from ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor?

Why does the agent use tokens if the connector runs locally?

Because the agent's "brain" (LLM — e.g. OpenAI or Anthropic models) lives in the cloud. That's where your system prompts and conversation history are sent for decision-making. The Worker (Connector) is simply the agent's local "hands". The LLM decides what to do, the Worker executes it locally and sends only the result back for analysis.
